I don?t know if it?s open for discussion or a vote, but
personally I never really liked the ?best of? idea as a substitute for a
regular event. I?d rather shoot something new.

I do like the "Best of" idea - but I think it should be treated
like something separate - not as a replacement for an event. It?d be
easy enough to make a PERMANENT, ongoing ?best of? where after every
event each photographer just puts a checkmark next to his best panorama.

That could change with every new event, or it could be the same
panorama for years. The ?Best of the WWP? could grow with each new
photographer, and the panoramas would change with new events as people
got better - or as their tastes change.

	That's my two cents, anyway.

I agree with this. I say stick with the original concept. I am?
strictly an amateur, which means my best would probably be a?
throwaway if done by a pro (but I am getting better with each shot).?
A lot of the fun is in selecting a subject that obeys the theme?
guidelines. There are plenty of those that could be done in the?
winter (summer, south of the equator), to wit:

1-Public Art
2-Bars and/or Restaurants
3-People
4-Transportation
5-Weather
6-Recreation/Sports
etc. etc.

Just my 2 cents worth...
