ZKM did try to contact Don Bain and Landis originally, as I remember from Don's
message. This contact did not result in a timely solution. It is possible that
ZKM thought or hoped that contacting the leaders would be enough and it is hard
to say what assumptions they might have made, given those communications. I'm
eagerly awaiting ZKM's statement.
