wwp@yahoogroups.com: ZKM globorama hassle Josh 2008-Jun-04 20:20:00
Dear WWP-Group!

In my opinion each party has made mistakes - both ZKM and Don. But,
ladies and gentlemen, what's the hassle about? They have presented
our panos on a fantastic development, i.e. this globorama screen. ZKM
hasn't taken some 'noname' pictures but our high quality ones - this
is quite an honour I think. And as I can see on Willy's video, ZKM has
posted each name in the picture.

Have you ever had the opportunity to show your pictures in such size
and quality? What do you think you would have to pay for rental of
such a screen? Are you in any way able to build up such a screen
yourself? If so, gratulations! Go on and make an exhibition. ;-)

Sending an invoice or even going to court is inappropriate. It would
be a completely different situation, if the panos would have been used
commercially - but this is not the case. In contrary, the screen costs
a lot to ZKM and partners.

This may sound like I am involved with ZKM and the globorama - but I
am not. I've heard about all this on May 29. And I have read a view
messages today, including Don's and the reaction of ZKM. Now me, I
wish to cooperate with ZKM - and not fight them!

Both parties do a great job: Don & Co (thanks!) with the WWP and ZKM
with the globorama! It is both a great deal for spreading VR. Go on
with your good work and forget about this 'copyright infringement'.

Cheers
Josh
