Here in Rochester (western New York, USA) the day dawned gray and
cloudy. Thick overcast clouds made for rather un-picturesque outdoor
photos. I got out early, which was good. By 10 am a steady snow and
rain mix fell; it lasted the rest of the day.
My indoor backup plan had been to photograph my daughter's 5th
birthday party. Instead, she was sick and the party was cancelled.
She became dangerously dehydrated from a stomach virus and we ended
up spending all evening and all night in the emergency room. They
pumped her full of fluids and she's fine. But no, I didn't take a
pano of the emergency room or any indoor scene for that matter.
I've got workable raw photos. I don't expect to get to stitching for
a few days. The scene won't be the best our region has to offer. But,
I think the end result will still be worth checking out.
