I am enthusiatic about the idea. One of the worst battle fields of WWI was also the Isonzo front in Slovenia. It was a mountain battlefield with extreme natural situations.
Here is a memorial wooden church built in the mountains : http://www.burger.si/QTVR/Javorca/JavorcaENG.html (VRpanos were made two years ago), and the winter scene above the bunker on altitude of 2164 : http://www.burger.si/QTVR/093_Full_Batognica.html.
The forecast for Thursday is snowing and blizzards so the approach maid be difficult but there are some more memorials in urban places, so I would be glad to participate.
Here is also a small vitual tour to WWI museum : http://www.burger.si/MuzejiInGalerije/KobariskiMuzej/KobariskiMuzejENG.h... (from 1999/2000)

The idea just came to me so I share it with you for obvious reasons:
the day after tommorrow is 11 November (WW1 end) a time of
commemoration for events bound to be forgotten sometime
in a near future. I thought it was a good idea
for a pano event to share, I know every village in Belgium
and France will have its ceremony and even when not, the
monuments are just about everywhere here. I don't know how
or even if it is commemorated in Germany, Austria and elsewhere.
I hope this could be achieved across borders.
This is proposed in the spirit of the wwp no winners no loosers.
with enough participants a website will be set up.
And to those who think it is a short notice, it is.
But so was the end of WWI, just 2 days.
