Why do you talk about the 8192 limit. As far as I can see all panos  
are converted to QTVR which is used as the source also for KRPano.
The flash limit then is much higher around 6000x6000 cubefaces  even  
if most computers will not have the Ram and speed needed for that size.
Not to talk about the limit for browsers.

I can not find any panos which uses an Equirectangular as the source.  
And I also should ad that it is not adviceable to use it in KRPano  
even if you can,
You will get a lot of distortions both at zenith and nadir and also  
wavy lines even in Flash 10.

Something else is that the previews from the QTVR  is bad.
They do not work as it should in KRPano.  You have to wait until it  
is all loaded before the pano actually starts open for the full  
resolution. The QTVR works fine in Quicktime.
