I like the "badge" idea for participants - even as far as having "5" "10" etc badges to celebrate the number of WWP's participated in. Why not have a design contest? Allow animated GIF's, flash, etc. Many of the sites I have seen on the web, including a few of my own, mention participation in the WWP. Having an image there (an "official" image) would be great!
