With a more or less automatic process: as long as enough people
participate and someone is interested in seeing the panoramas.

I don't think we've spent enough efforts in finding new photographers
last time. It should be announced early enough on the various panorama
platforms with a clear call to action. The group of existing
photographers should try to recruit new ones.

4 x a year,
maybe with extra shoots for special (wordwide) events/dates (like the
Millennium shoot)

Solar calendar is fine.

I think it should be a short as possible but include at least one
weekend for practical reasons since many of us have normal daytime jobs.
The idea of the World Wide panorama is to capture the world at a certain
moment. Period. If the weather is bad, than the weather is bad. Just
showing blue sky, sunshine panoramas of the world, would give a very
wrong impression. This is also a big challenge for the photographers and
demand an extra portion of creativity. At the first wwp this year I
almost didn't participate because of the bad weather and I am neither
satisfied with my submission. But looking back, I realize that I could
have done better, that there were other options.

just my 2 eurocents,

world wide greetings,

Harald
