Re: extensive virtual tour

I think that the number of panos is depended of the point of the view – is it the commercial presentation of the location or a geographical documentation. Commercial one need to be vivid and attractive (in this case there are really to many panos for the rivera), geographical one displays the location as it is – even it is boring, with garbage, graphites on walls e.t.c. At the moment I am documenting the second largest town of "one tiny country" – it is not paid work (none of my pano work wasn't paid … all for my fun although I have over 8100 panos within my site), but the plan for this town is to be covered with at least 500 panos including interiors. Is it boring? … most probably but it might be interesting someday in a future...
I even didn't care to use the tripod or monopod, every single pano was shot hand held, the navigation is very simple as I don't waste my time with flash programming, the only exception with the use of tripod was a wine cellar ( http://www.burger.si/Maribor/Vinag/seznam.html ) - wery the same as with my subterranean projects. First 100+ panos were uploaded ( http://www.burger.si/Maribor/map_Maribor.htm ).
I don't wait for a nice weather to shot panos...clouds, rain... all is part of the location... boring or not, my job is to document it.
