I don't know PanoCube, but I think the idea of different compressions
for different tiles is quite interesting.
I do want to correct one thing however. You CAN select 100 quality
steps on all the software that I've used. It can be done in
CubicConverter, or QTVR Authoring Studio, or RealViz Stitcher, or
QuickTime Player Pro (in fact anytime the compression window from
QuickTime pops up). Instead of just dragging from 'Low' to 'Medium'
to 'Best', hold down the Ctrl key (on Mac - but another key also
works on Windows (alt?)) and you can drag left and right to all 100
levels.
