My bridge was difficult to find, and I was trying to find it long time
ago. I saw this medieval bridge in several books, but no trace of it,
and I couldn't find any track on the 1/50.000 topographic map, and
sattelite images of that area (mountain rocks).
One day at a spanish library I have discovered a portuguese book about
nature and tracks, et voila!, with a track passing this medieval
bridge!! (this book is not available in Portugal)
I have prepared my atv vehicle, gps, and maps, and after several kms of
a beautiful hard trail, bingo, there it was waiting for me!
The weather almost overcast and the photo was taken as the others, hand
held, using my scratched 8mm Sigma, so don't expect much from this
panorama.
The proportion of the scale of this bridge (length width) with scale
of the rocks that support it and height down to the water, and the
lanscape around it is what it makes it special. I love this bridge!
I will return, when I will have a decent fisheye tripod head, and a new
8mm fisheye.
