I'm devastated. Suffering withdrawal symptoms. Since 1991, every year I've become more dependent on Adobe. They ate my word processor FrameMaker, my web development Dreamweaver and Flash from Macromedia. They got me to use Premiere Pro for video making when Apple stopped Final Cut. Now they are an out of control monopoly, like AT&T was before divestment. Such businesses used to be called robber barons. At this moment, I can't see an alternative path forward.
Thanks for the link to the FAQ blog, Dave. I posted a few replies and saw others expressing the same anguish in other words. Hoping that many voices will help modify the business model for our use.
