If as Peter suggest changing to a higher quality JPEG compression setting
doesn?t work, and I think that it should, try adding some ?noise? to the
offending area. Select the offending area of the sky of the stichted image
in Photoshop, then use a very low setting say 0.13, of the Noise Filter. It
has helped me in the past with banding in the sky that I got with my old
Nikon CoolPix 900, and it might work here for you.
