Here is a quite complete story:
The camera setup used: Fuji S2, ISO 400 in RAW mode, Sigma 8mm Fisheye.
A monopod with L-Adapter as shown here:

Shutter was released by a long wire. The monopod was held in the air
with one hand and the shutter released with the other...
The images were taken this way: 4 images with 90 degree advance, some
additional images shot with a offset of 45 degrees. All images loaded in
PTGui and assembled, output: single image TIFF. The first 4 images i
have blended with enblend, the other images were used to postprocess the
pano in PS and "fill some holes".
The Naschmarkt is "famous" among photographers because of the high
contrasts. Unfortunately i had to shoot shortly before the "blue hour"
(the marked was closed some minutes later). So i have taken an
additional zenith image some meters away and "colored" the sky with it.
