Briar,
I shot the following link from Coit Tower in San Francisco by walking around
the observation deck and shooting from the windows. I used a 12mm lens on a
D70. It was a challenge to stitch. I had problems with blending since I used
auto-exposure rather than manual as I do for other panos. It was just an
experiment to see how it would work. Good luck.

Any ideas for shooting a pan from a large tower when you cannot set up at
the centre point? You would have to shoot from (x??) locations around a
circle looking outwards, then how could you set up a stitching programme to
put them together?
Thanks for any ideas!!
