OK Don,
You requested some storys from bridge shooting experience.
Here is mine:
I would like to take my bridge pano direct at equinox.
This means at local time 5:25 PM on the 22.th (today).
But weather forecast for today was bad.
So i did the panorama shoot yesterday.
my subject is a small bridge over the Nagold in Calw
from around 1400 with a Gothic bridge chapel on it.
Unfortunately, there is a current renovation of the Chapel inside,
and the craftsman parked his car in front of that chapel on the bridge.
So I have to wait, till he finished his work of the day and removed his car.
It was just short after sunset, when i got my possibility.
The only day with really good weather in this shooting period was Saturday.
But on Saturday, i had to attend a family meeting far away from that bridge.
Maybe, the next time I'm able to do a panorama with the sun shining.
