Just a notice...
The first aerial bombing and combined with the heavy guns from the ground and in purpose to sistematicly destroy the civil targets (acording to the documentary book 'The Isonzo front') of the city was by Italian aircraft. The victim town was Slovenian town Gorica, nowdays it is in Italy (Gorizia)... it was 18th November 1915...
Comparing to Guernica which was truly barbaric the Italian bombing of Gorica was acctually a 'gentelman act' : the citizens were warned that the town will be bombed but nobady escaped ... so there vere dramatic civil casulties. Only in first four hours (4) ther were fallen 3000 heavy granates and the town was heavily damaged... survivals were frightened and went away from the the town...

I shot it this morning during very stormy conditions so there are some
ghosties.
It shows the Gernika Bridge in Pfrozheim - Germany, which is dedicated
to the victims and people of Gernika - Spain. This town was bombed
during the Spanish civil war by German Aircrafts. It was the first
bombing by air of a city in history of war and opened thereby the Box
of Pandorra.
This bridge is in Pforzheim as this City shares the same fate as
Gernika and having a partnership with it. Pforzheim was also bombed at
the end of the WW2 (Choosen cause it was a light inflamable target). So
this is a memorial that war only produces mourning and pain.
