Excellent theme. Add it to the database for sure.
WRT celebrating a special day for Darwin ... not so sure that's a
great idea. Yes, Darwin is an important figure in our scientific
history, but so were many, many others. And what about the arts,
philosophy, music, etc. There are equally important and transcendent
figures scattered throughout recent and ancient history that have
shaped our species and our cultures ... plural culture emphasized,
because while Western science and culture is important, equally so are
other viewpoints.
Once the door is opened for something like this, where do you draw the
line? The tribute to the "Wrinkle In Time" was an exception, but it
was both focused in what the WWP is about, at base, and it was
coincident with our normal shooting schedule.
I do really like "evolution" though. A lot to explore with that theme.
