Pedro,
I think "evolution" is a great idea and especially like your
suggestion of stretching the rules to allow shooting on Darwin
birthday. Not only is 2009 the 200th anniversary of his birth, but
it's the 150th anniversary of his book, The Origin of Species.
This opens up so many possibilities. It's like a celebration of life
on earth, the incredible diversity, where we came from, how all
species are essentially distant cousins. We can shoot paleontology,
scientists studying DNA in a lab or a doctor vaccinating a child to
fight the most recently evolved strain of influenza. I'm nuts about
dinosaurs so would probably shoot something on a dinosaur dig, or
inside the Royal Tyrrell Museum. I'm sure someone would do some panos
in the Galapogos.
