Hi Meredith,

This is not exactly the best place to ask this question, this newsgroup 
is specific for WWP related subjects - and that's why it is usually so 
silently, it really come to life near each event -  but you can start 
digging information at http://wiki.panotools.org/ which have lots of 
excellent tutorials, etc!

You don't NEED to buy a 303 panoramic head. There is other ones out 
there, some cheaper, some more expensive, some better, some ridiculous 
worse, in fact, you don't have to buy a panohead at all. Of course, 
using one can make your work easier - sometimes - but nowadays 
stitchers/blenders do an amazing job correcting and leveling things.

A very good panohead is the Nodal Ninja 3 or 5 (the latest model) but by 
your setup you can probably go with a NN3. At the wiki (link above) you 
can even find out how to build yourself a panohead. ;)
