Likewise. I have not seen anything like this posted anywhere on this
list, have not received any sort of email ... where did this come from?
While I might well be persuaded to allow usage, I haven't even been
given the benefit of UNINFORMED consent.
Beyond the fact that it is inappropriate to assume consent if no
acknowledgment is given, it is stated clearly on the WWP pages that:
"All images will be copyright by the individual photographers. Use in
any way other than viewing on this web site is prohibited unless
permission is obtained from the relevant photographer. The overall
site is copyright by the Regents of the University of California."
