There are issues involved with FB vs mailing list, but for me it's really only about not automatically getting all content sent to me. In terms of broad readership FB is undeniably massive. And in terms of connecting with others, using the various FB tools ? particularly the Like buttons ? can be enormously beneficial.

Re cube faces, I think we've been working on that for a while, but I'm afraid I've been so busy for so long that my eye has been well-and-truly off the ball for some time. :(

Personally, I'm in favour of comments. We should be very careful to squash nasty/flame/etc. ones as quickly as possible, and choose a comment method that is as robust as possible against spammers. But the future of pretty much everything revolves around communication; I would like us to try and embrace that. Carefully but actively!
Like and Share buttons could be a good way for panos to be promoted... but without the counts, as that slips towards an actual vote-style system ? which it was decided was against the nature of the WWP.
