I see so many comments that are harsh and/or hurtful... flame bait or trolling or whatever you want to call it... that I think the comments ought to be totally under the control of the photographer who made the pano. Best of all would be to have comments enabled for all by default, disabled by deliberate individual choice, and with individual comments deletable. Of course, a really vindictive commenter might react badly to having a malicious comment deleted, and that might escalate into a posting/deleting war. (Sigh)

Despite the above I do think it would be good to make comments possible.
