For a few minutes I thought I would have to retract this statement!
My wife just came in from gardening and showed me the label on one of
the new '"Sunny" Osteospermum' plants she's just put in. The final
sentence in the English section reads:
"Multiplication only allowed, if licensed through GPL"
After some poking about I found this link

"GPL is not always GNU General Public License". In this case it is
specifically restrictive, which seems a slightly odd thing to do with
something that will attempt to reproduce itself as a matter of
natural course... :-)
Shame - the idea of GPL for plants tickled me.
