Hello from the Sunny side of the Alps. It was »damn« cold here few days ago but
the temperature is moderate now and snow is intensively melting. Winter is
officially here and the Best of 2010 event silently started about one week ago.
Yes too silently unfortunately?
But I believe that all we were very busy with our daily work. Best of 2010? What
is that? Best quality pano or best documented location or event? I don't know. I
usually post the pano which represents my current work, not necessarily the best
quality. I am working in a coal mine since last November. It was very dusty
place which was killing my cameras and lenses. The pressure of the coal in a
longwall-face was so high that noise of cracks was constant. I have uploaded to
the WWP Best of 2010 event the pano from the 400 m below the Earth's surface
and ~ 170 m below the Sea level. It is the team of mine engineers helping me
with the lightening and measuring the level of methane and the carbon monoxide,
the guy with the overlighted face is me.The location was very delicate as you
can notice the collapsed tunnel which had slowly collapsed after I documented
