wwp@yahoogroups.com:
Publishing to QTVR on Windows platform ... suggestions?

I'm being driven to distraction by this! Though I've fooled around
with panos for some time now, my output has almost exclusively been
for print ... partial cylindricals or mosaics for higher res, that
sort of thing.
I've got a decent image stitched together, but my attempts at
getting it into QTVR have been dissappointing.
I'm aware of PanoCube ... that's what I've been using at the moment,
though I'm definitely open to other suggestions! I'd be happy to
pay for a full version of PanoCube, it's certainly not expensive, if
that would solve the problems.
Essentially, I've been seeing some wonderfully detailed, crisp
looking panos here (and elsewhere) that weigh in a couple megabytes
in size ... 2Mb or less. Anything I'm producing at that size looks
blurry and undetailed, definitely NOT like the original image. In
order to even approach the quality of the original, I'm pushing 4Mb
in size. There's got to be a trick I'm not clued in to here, so I'm
asking for advice, pointers towards resources I can bone up on,
etc.. Are most (or many) of you using Macs to publish to QTVR?
There seems to be a lot more resources available for that platform.
I've got access to Linux, and I believe there's a Mac emulator I
could run, but not for OSX if that's required.
Anyhow, thanks in advance ...
