I'm not completely satisfied ... the output is still nowhere near as sharp
as the originals used to publish the pano (see other posts, still working on
this!) ... but it's getting closer. I've managed to get a reasonably decent
pano in at just under my target size of 2 Mbs. Yes, some of it is the
subject itself, the "distance" of the objects in view, etc.. It's
unrealistic to expect too much, but ...
:)
In any case, I'd appreciate any comments, suggestions, critiques, etc.. as I
haven't put QTVR's online before, having worked mostly with Java viewers
when I've worked with any at all (most of my pans have been partials,
rendered for print output.)

The view is Chicago's lakefront/skyline as shot from "Northerly Island"
alongside the Adler Planetarium. (A bit of astronomical linkage to the
equinox.) I'll have a bunch more info on the history of the planetarium
(the first in the Western Hemisphere) for submission to the final WWPano
page.
