Hi, Jeffrey.

Now to look at the other side (I can't help myself). And I'm sorry if I made it sound like I would never look at 360Cities in GoogleEarth. I love 360Cities.net and I hope to be able to access it directly and in it's full glory. I think Google is still improving their interface. I am sure they will add additional functionality and preferences as the feature is improved. I think we will see your 18 Gigapixel images directly from the GoogleEarth interface eventually, and I hope that you are able to dictate a little bit to them how they should be displaying your images. If they want to have a drag interface for their own features, then let them have it, but if your VR images are to be displayed, I think it needs to be with better controls and resolution. I have confidence they will continue to improve the interface. One thing I like about GoogleEarth map dragging, is the ability to sort of toss the mouse as I drag it, I let go of the click just as I am stopping the drag, and it puts the display into a sort of auto pan mode. I find I toss the view around a lot as I drag myself around the GoogleEarth terrain. GoogleEarth offers a bunch of customization for its map viewing. I have high hopes for this interface.

Dragging the little hand around, completely opposite of the way we normally view VR images in the rest of the world, is a giant step backwards for the world of VR photography. Why does Google Earth display VR images this way? It's so bad that I never use the feature, except occasionally the "street view" mode if I am really looking for a location in the map. When it comes to viewing images in the 360Cities database, I would never use this terrible interface. That's just my opinion.
