Respectfully I suggest you keep reading.

The WWP copyright is VERY clearly stated. It has been ignored and
abused. You must agree that the principle of copyright is important?
Then regardless of who abuses it and why, it's wrong.

A number of WWP contributors had to arrange special permission for
panos to be taken or shown for the WWP, and the WWP ONLY. They are
now through no fault of their own potentially in breach of agreements
and/or trust with their clients.

Unauthorised cropping of a spherical pano to a thin strip is abhorent
to many WWP contributors who consider the integrity of the entire
pano, and it's context in the WWP to be of great importance.

If you support the principle of copyright at all, then you must
understand that to ignore the actions of people like ZKM is
undermining that principle. Their past and proven abuse of copyright
must be resolved.

That is not to say that once that sorry chapter is resolved that we
cannot potentially work with them. But first they must put right what
has been done so wrongly. I feel sure ZKM themselves would pursue
anyone who breached *their* copyrights or patents eh?

I am sure their lawyers understand (or are coming to understand) our
position, and that it is in everyone's best interest, including ZKM,
to see that the principle of copyright, and the right of artists to
their own works, is upheld, and not undermined.

Respectfully,
KathyW.
