Let me just also say, the reason Quicktime is in use is that it's by
FAR the most widely supported viewer with VR support. Flash is
looking real promising lately, and I would totally support this
community moving towards a common Flash viewer as the de facto
standard. Right now it's still not clear what that is yet, though,
but Flash is the only option I see as a viable replacement for a de
facto VR player.
