OK, probably a stupid question but, isn't QuickTime 'hardware accelerated?'
Even if a fully functional 360 x 180 Flash player is developed (and I have
seen several attempts-they are all slow and 'jerky';) can a Flash based
full-frame viewer ever be as quick and smooth as QT?

Interesting. Are there any examples with more Flash features like
buttons, animations, movie clips, menus, and other autoscripted
features superimposed over the photo?
I couldn't tell from your page if everything on the page was part of
a Flash file or only the photo. I personally don't see the advantage
of moving away from QuickTime if it is just a plain panorama.
How does VR Flash Navigator work with Flash authoring and .swf files?
