Rick
before you come with rubbish like this check the fact first.

1. Standard Quicktime installation page has 2 options.
with iTunes 40mb and stanmdalone installer 18.8mb (windows)
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

2. Installing Quicktime from a Quicktime movie page directly will
always give you the no iTunes option automatically.

3. the downloads size has actually been reduced from 23 to 18.8 mb in
the last versions.

4. Quicktime is still the ONLY VIEWER which can be used also on a
6-8 year old computer and on both platforms.
And yes there are still many Windows 98 people out there.
Even if they have been cut in half the last 6 months there are still
2-3%
