Oh.. we have a long railway tradition as the country was on the strategic position (link between Central Europe and the Meditteranean) in the 19th century...here is my virtual tour to Railway museum from the year 2000 and updated in 2001: http://www.burger.si/MuzejiInGalerije/ZelezniskiMuzej/index.html (it seems like official museum site, but the museum was broke in that time and I had donated my virtual tour to help them, as they couldn't afford even a server, the VR tour is still within my web site...).
I had an idea to visualize all the railway infrastructure which was threated to be demolished...like this which exists only here now: http://www.burger.si/MuzejiInGalerije/ZelezniskiMuzej/Livarna/uvod.html (consider that the quality with the technology I had in 2000 - 3 mpix coolpix camera).
I succeed to visualize the Carinthian railway http://www.burger.si/MuzejiInGalerije/ZelezniskiMuzej/DravskaProga/About... but as I spent over half year I had to stop, but with the idea to continue - but in seven years I still didn't find the time to continue...well I did with the http://geoimages.berkeley.edu/worldwidepanorama/wwp906/html/BostjanBurge....

Wow Ljubjana is now coming much closer to "Europe" as before. Every
two hours a beautiful comfortable train to Germany (and Stuttgart)
with a nice Restaurant Car in only 9h is NOT bad considering that you
are crossing two big mountain ranges of which the Tauern is
expectacular ! The price would be 65 Euros for me for Stuttgart-
Ljubjana.
