wwp@yahoogroups.com: Audio on both pages, was Re: Audio file restrictions Caroling 2005-Mar-21 16:47:00
I was trying to set my pages up to not duplicate the sound.
Finally I understand how the WWP pages work.
They don't work well for my Sanctuary entry, because it
is a short sound and only plays once. What is worse, the
problem with the no-audio Full Screen page is that the
user loses control. If I provide a long sound, there's no way
to turn it off in Full Screen.
Could you possibly make it an option to have sound on
both regular and Full-Screen pages? I'm asking this
because my panorama actually shows a waveform of the
audio.
The audio is integral to the message. So I'll make it
looping. On the other hand, it's loud and the user might
not like the style, so I need the option to turn it off on
 both pages.
If you can't do that, perhaps I can put the sound track i
n the Full Screen movie and make a button to turn it off.
I don't like buttons in movies, but I can't think of any
other solution.
On my own web pages, I let both tracks play. It makes a
syncopated round sound that can be rather fun. If not,
the user can turn it off.
