If you include the sound in the QTVR file, the same size restrictions
apply - <700k (shooting for <500k). If you provide a separate sound
file (MOV), we'd appreciate keeping the file size down, but I think
you can also go up to 700k.
The disadvantage to having the sound embedded IN the QTVR file is
that if the viewer opens the page with your normal panorama and
starts hearing sound, and then clicks on the full-screen link, they
will hear both sound tracks at the same time.
If you provide a separate sound file this will be avoided. If the
viewer goes directly to the full screen then a sound file will be
embedded in the page, if they go from the normal panorama to the full
screen it will leave that sound out of the full screen page.

cheesy example of this.
If you have 'directional' sound, there's no way around this.
