Re: new promotional possibility - Fullscreen QTVR site

I'd like to speak strictly as a participant and not my normal role
when it comes to the WWP. Please take the following comments that
way and not at all as 'official'.
Personally I don't have a problem with it. I really don't find the
navigation of the FullScreenQTVR.com site all that appealing. It's
too busy to keep my attention, I get lost and quickly move on. But
as Aldo said (disagreeing with my point, but making it for me): "the
site /looks/ a lot better than the WWP site, but that's a matter of
taste."
I certainly wouldn't want to see a links harvesting website building
an index to the WWP and drawing traffic to them in an effort to sell
ads based on our work, but I don't think FullScreenQTVR.com fits that
profile. They really are trying to build attention for VR and to
this end we are trying to do the same thing.
As I see it this is not another index, but a way to get more people
to see our work. This will NEVER replace the WWP or our indexes.
It's just a way to get more traffic going to us.
I can't stand watching CNN Headline News, MSNBC, MTV or any of those
other TV channels that throw so much info at you in the space of one
screen. I get lost, confused, and ultimately bored. So I have never
used FullScreenQTVR.com to get to more than one or two panoramas that
caught my eye. And this is probably a big reason that the WWP is so
straightforward and maybe a little too 'clean' for some people's
tastes. But apparently this 'busy' style works for others. And if
this brings some more people in touch with what the WWP is, people
who wouldn't find it otherwise, I don't see how that can be bad.
Put me down as on the fence and not really seeing any *major*
advantages OR disadvantages.
MY 2 cents (if it's even worth that much),
