After reading everyone's comments I thought that I would suggest a
change to the current test pages over at Full Screen QTVR.
The first index page to mainly stay like it is, maybe re-word the text
below our logo adding some sort of community reference to it to help
distinguish that we are a non-commercial organisation doing everything
for the love of it. Leave the 100+ full screens links too.
On an event page instead of showing all full screen submissions, only
show a selection, no more than a single page full. Also expand the
text at the top of the page to give a bit more incite into the project
itself so people can understand what we are trying to achieve. Explain
that what is shown here is just a selection of the 100+ full screen
panoramas over at the WWP site. Also drop the equipment list off the
descriptions (when trying to promote QTVR do people need to know what
equipment was used), and if we are presenting a reduced selection then
more room could be given to people's descriptions to help visitors
understand something about a panorama before viewing it. So we show
the visitors to Full Screen QTVR a taster, hopefully enough to get
them to visit the WWP site to see the rest and fully experience our
navigation, categorisation, read everyone's full texts and understand
what went into every submission.
Hopefully this wouldn't dilute our work too much but give it exposure
on another site and help promote the use of QTVR's.
